The race features a 5K Run, 10K Run, and 2 Mile Walk. The 10K Run will start at 9:00am, the 5K run will start at 9:05am, and the 2 Mile walk will begin at 9:15am. WebNow in its 39th year, the Irish Jig has grown to become one of Michigan’s premier 5K (3.1 mile) road races. The USA Track & Field certified course is mostly flat with a few gentle hills. The start of the race is a short walk from the East Grand Rapids High School gym where participants will check in on race morning.
