At each well-child visit between 6 months and 5 years of age, the pediatrician hands the child/parent a new, developmentally appropriate book. WebSep 16, 2011 · Through the national Reach Out and Read program, the 78th Medical Group is now providing an age-appropriate new book to every child up to age 5 who visits the clinic for a wellness visit. Wellness visits are conducted for children 6-, 9-, 12- and 18-months old. They are also scheduled for 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-year olds.
