WebJun 16, 2024 · I have heard you can opt out of the dongle and use an app called headunit reloaded. It took me a while to get the dongle set up. My main gripe isn't really with Android Auto specifically, but the Android headunit itself (after I got the dongle set up). I expected there to be a boot period. WebInstall Headunit Reloaded on it. Connect your phone to the tablet via USB or WiFi to start android auto. Connect the tablet's Bluetooth to your helmet so all audio goes to your head. I'm not sure what mic will be used.
