WebMar 19, 2014 · I recently found a 2nd gen, 4gb iPod mini (M9804LL, firmware version 1.4.1) at a thrift store and decided to grab it to use at the gym. I've been trying to get through the five R's so I can use the darn thing but have had little success. 😢. iTunes (latest 11-something update) will not recognize the iPod.
